Main Page
From CAPwiki
Welcome to the CAP Wiki!
This is a web site where you can read information about CAP - and also contribute information about CAP. Every page you read, you can add to - if you have information to add, or see a typo that needs to be corrected, just click the "Edit this page" tab at the top.
What information belongs here? If it is germane to Civil Air Patrol, then it is welcome in this wiki. Provided, of course, that it is factual information presented with a neutral point of view (NPOV). For more information on NPOV, please see Wikipedia:NPOV
Getting started
Take a couple minutes to try out CAPwiki by following these steps:
- Create a user name for yourself by clicking "log in/create account" in the top right corner of this page. Creating a user name is not required; however it allows you to go back and view all changes and contributions that you have made.
- Type a topic into the "search" box at the left. If the article for that topic exists, you can add to it by clicking the "edit" tab at the top of the page and typing your changes.
- If you don't find an article on the topic you typed, you can create that article by that name by clicking on "You can create this page."
- Once you have created an article, go to another article that should reference yours, and add a link to your article by typing its name in double square brackets:
[[Your article name]].
- For example, if you create an article on SAR/DR Mission Pilot, you would then go to the article on Emergency Services Ratings and add a link by typing:
[[SAR/DR Mission Pilot]].
Looking for somewhere to start? Why not start by filling in some information about your wing or region, then your group and squadron?
Thank you for contributing!
